Tweet. Meet. Give.

So what is Twestival? In the simplest terms it’s a Twitter festival that happens one day, once a year where people get together for a tweet-up party to raise money for charity. Last year, there were 202 cities, 1,000+ volunteers and 10,000 donors that participated in Twestival Global 2009, raising over US$250k+ to fund the building of 55 wells that directly impacted and provided clean drinking water for 17,000 people in Uganda, Ethiopia and India. This year, Twestival is back in the name of education for kids, where 100% of the funds raised will go directly into education projects in the poorest communities in the world!
