A friend once said: 'Life is like a rollercoaster ride, there will be ups and downs'. Despite having heard this saying years before it came out of his mouth, I never really thought about it till the start of my stint working for RI. Since he first said it to me in 2005, its been sitting at the back of my mind and every time an obstacle is placed in my way and times are a struggle, I can't help but think: when will this ride be over?
